The Art of The Green Chile Kitchen concludes with this little series of photographs of the lovely little shop, located 601 Baker Street. This is so perfect, to have a pie shop on Baker Street. Now if that is not meant to be, what is?
The inviting sign outside is beautifully done, but don’t linger too long admiring it’s allure, or you might miss out on that last slice of the pie that you like best. But if that happens, don’t cry like Edith Massey did about the possibility of no more eggs, because there will be more pies, just as there will be more eggs. Don’t fret! Don’t worry. Your needs will be met!
And if you do worry about eating all of the eggs & that could be something that happens, a world with no more chickens, you will have these reminders of chickens made of ceramic that decorate the shop. Let’s hope that Edith Massey’s worries won’t come true.
At the very first Pie shop, the chairs are very cute, with a design that makes the setting home-like & very comfortable.
And this rooster will watch over all things, just in case the pie supply gets low, he will make that famous rooster sound, to alert the baker to “Hurry to Baker Street, Pies are needed.”
HERE IS THE YOU TUBE THAT SHOWS IT ALL–JUST UP THE STREET FROM THE PIE SHOP!
