About Princess Meltia Bonaparte
Case Study
Princess Melita Bonaparte has striven to give the world a unique perspective on the roles of cross gender living, by adopting all things she could not have possibly had through accident of biology. Hence, she is a direct descendent of not only all Royal Houses of Europe, but from Cleopatra as well. For her, being Royal comes naturally, and her form of drag requires no make up & causes little, if any harm, for sewage systems after a day on the job.

Her goal, as previously stated, is world peace & equality for all people. Her brand logo can be none other than a photograph of herself & any attributes already bestowed upon the House of Bonaparte.

She became the very first Ambassador to Antarctica, the first time such a position was sponsored by two countries, France & The United States of America. Both nations have attempted to deport her.

She wishes me to thank all who have shown their love & support to her during this journey.

I have read and understand the terms and conditions of submitting my campaign to the WOMMY Awards competition outlined in WOMMA’s Non-disclosure form.

IF YOU WANT TO WIN A WOMMY, YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR MONEY FROM MOMMY! REALLY, “THIS SHOULD BE FUNDED BY THE COMPANY & THOSE WHO ATTEMPT TO ENTER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE TRUST FUND BABIES!”-Quotation directly from Her Imperial Highness, Princess Melita Bonaparte
And she always is very straightforward, as Anna Freud said of her Grandmother, Princess Marie Bonaparte, The Princess George of Greece.

DALLAS-FORT WORTH: MUNDUS IN AIRPORT PESSIMUM

Here is a photograph of a skillet of ice cream with what looks to be a pickle slice on the side. You are quite correct, there are two before photographs, I did lose count.
This is the CRITICAL OBSERVATION PHASE, just before surrendering to the allure of Texas cuisine, while waiting for my flight to be cancelled: 29 May 2013.

Due to tornadoes, I had an entire day @ the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. One can do a lot in a day @ the world’s worst airport, get in trouble deep, or eat ice-cream in a skillet & or get caught up on current events reading. I chose the latter.

Here is a BEFORE photograph of a skillet of ice-ceam.

Besides that, I read lots & lots & lots of Dan Savage columns in rather large stack of SF Weekly magazines I accumulated over the…

Pola Negri–Does She Need A Supreme Court?

It took years of pleading to get one of her films shown @ the San Francisco Silent Film Festival. Now, we ask for more. Her career was full, wide, brilliant. She lived life over the edge long before Elizabeth Taylor or Lindsay Lohan. She invented public drama.

But behind all those layers of robust Social Media precursors was a truly gifted artist. We can only hope that her work will be up there with Garbo, Pickford, Swanson, Chaplin, Valentino, Fairbanks. Her time is overdue…

Art of the Green Chile Kitchenette 314 Church Street-Feel Like Church?

If you want Church, there are still a few that have not been closed down. If you want to be on Church Street, & feel renewed by good food while surrounded by inspiring & simple decor, Green Chile Kitchen-ette is a place that will leave both appetites well nourished.

Let me tell you, their newest addition to the menu, the cakes, are a religious experience. It’s almost a sin to be the first one to buy a slice. The cakes are beautiful, something that would give artist Wayne Theibaud a run for his brushes. They are as wonderful to eat as they are to look at—’tis a total experience for the senses, visual, taste buds, tummy filling, and the texture–art you are allowed to eat.

The owner, Trevor Logan, has wisely chosen to keep with the Southwest New Mexico art influences in terms of extending the decorating influences one experiences @ the McAllister Street location, the Mother Church.

Here is a menu of some of the visual art:

The sign tells you right where you are.

This sweet ceramic chicken greets you, but quietly. She has a reddish-orange charm. Now, what might that be? Drop by & find out!

It's tiny, but don't forget to look up. The light fixture is splendidly rustic!

The star of the decor is this geometrically complex quilt, ironically adding a simple visual charm. That's two birds with one work of art, so to speak.

…But As Long As There Is Horror: Nightmare On Elm Street 2/ “Everybody in the world knows Freddy.”

Last night I had a nightmare come true. Got to meet Mark Patton the star of the 2nd film in this horror genre franchise. He has an art gallery in Pureto Vallharta. For some reason, I wanted to ask him about sharp objects, have no idea why, what got into me. I didn’t have the nerve, but the person behind me had one of the original prototypes of the leather & metal gloves used for the Freddy character. Based on that alone, he should be Head of the United Nations. No one would mess with him, and world peace would be firmly established.
THE BEST SCENES–THEY ARE CLASSIC!!!

Mark Patton played his part knowing & understanding the subtext & was able to speak of this experience with quite a spark of humour mixed with nostalgia. Important note added by Peaches Christ, was his direct & head-on approach to understanding the gay subtext made it easier for the next generation not to have to hide, and the need for that as a subtext is now a moot point. It no longer matters & actors & writers & all others who work in the film process, regardless of the genre, can now have the freedom to delve into issues that are specific to individuals, rather than skirt the realities of sexual orientation. Now, real relationships can be explored, thanks to how Mark Patton interpreted his part, and has been willing to step up to the plate and speak about it openly, without fear of recrimination.

Some Fine Day, We Might Not Have To See This Anymore!

If minds, hearts, souls, can open up, if we can just live & let live, we would not need to memorialise tragedy. Hate is a form of tragedy. It might make for compelling theatre & films. We might not have half of what we do on Saturday Night Live without it, but a peaceful life, with fears done away, could cause a new art form never before imagined. It stirs in my mind, but I must admit, that I have no idea what to call it, nor quite how to respond to a world without hate, without the ritualised killing called war & execution. Having a world without land mines & torture could bring about an artistic revolution that would have us all thinking & acting differently.

Till that fine day comes, here is what we see @ present: 4 Views of Violence & Plastic Body Parts, Store Window, San Francisco 2013.

Empty Space On A Full Street-

2349 Market Street–San Francisco.

The tiled entrance floor belongs to yesteryear, reminding me of what few business are still left operating in my dual hometowns of Galena, Kansas & Knightstown, Indiana. I was raised half & half, sort of dairy, one might say.

It’s downright sad to see an empty storefront on the major street of a world class city. But, business landlords don’t seem to understand that small businesses cannot bring in $50,000.00 a day to pay their employees, rent, upkeep, and God knows what all overhead they have to deal with on a daily basis. The end result of this equals empty buildings, going to waste.

Have a peek, but don’t get too attached to the next occupant, they don’t seem to last very long these days.

If anyone out there knows the correct name for this type of tiling, I will be happy to update this blog & include the information. I like it, brings back memories...

Olivia Newton-John!

Words just not needed here! Will say I was partially raised in a State that is on the Banks of the Ohio, Indiana! I can listen to her endlessly…

Here’s a bonus:

SHOULD I BE DOING BETTER THINGS WITH MY TIME?

It’s not my fault that someone made an interesting drawing (?/all subjective) on a toilet paper roll holdiing device in the Men’s Room. It’s all I did, really. Just thought it was a bit on the Picasso side & if he had been interested in photography, I think he may have taken a shot at this, so to speak. But, he was a genius, and I suppose that means he did not have time to take such photographs as he was far too busy being a genius.

I get to step back, not being a genius, and record the genius of those who can express their hearts, their souls, in a way that grabs us, shakes us, makes us cry, makes us think.

THE MEMORIAL OF THE UNKNOWN ARTIST:

Two views, one to prove that it is a truly functional work of art…

Here is to prove that can be incorporated on a very functional level.

Just the smallest shift, allows for artistic ambiguity.

Just the smallest shift, allows for artistic ambiguity.

Thoughts & expressions about what makes art ‘art’ will be discussed till the meek (roaches) have inherited the earth, and the artwork we left behind. From my perspective, many things go into art–but one thing I think that is a common denominator of ‘good’ art is ambiguity, not quite fully explaining one’s inner thinking, nor allowing a full sharing, a sort of holding back. Along with that, the artist who is not afraid of these matters, lets the viewer have a say in the process.

In Missouri, They Have Some German Dialect Thing Going On, Nein?

My inner Melita Bonaparte felt that there was more to this place than just getting your tank filled up. I sort of imagined Mae West purring this business name out & getting jail time for it, the way she did in New York City back in the 1920s. But, here is is, “Fill ‘er up at your own risk!” Then go, really quickly, go as fast as you can, because you don’t know who might be following you!

Just don’t come and go as you would in ordinary circumstances…you Kum & Go when in Joplin. Just get your business done, and go, just go!

Once it's over, it's over. There is no going back, unless you pay.

Once it’s over, it’s over. There is no going back, unless you pay.

This puts it in context, I think?

This puts it in context, I think?

It’s on a street called Maiden Lane, so that sort of cleans up the act, I’d say!

And, now, for the GRAND PRIZE–You Tube Has This Video—Yes, a place to go when I get tired of being passed over because I am not related to anyone in the food chain!!!!!!!

Kum & Go Will Be There For You! There is always a need for someone to mop up puke! I can do that!
